Hair-removal regimes are easily forgotten at this time of the year. After all it’s cold outside, so we wear trousers or thick tights, so chances are no-one outside the house will see those little stubbly bits anyway. Even inside, we’re more likely to be wearing pyjamas than nighties to bed, so again, what’s the problem with letting things go? The problem with that is, though, that if ever asked, women say that they do prefer to have smooth legs/armpits etc than to have rough re-growth or to allow their body hair to its full extent. It’s a vanity thing, really, but it’s also a comfort thing – who can argue that it’s more pleasant to pull on a pair of tights over stubble than it is to pull them on legs that are as smooth as silk?
